My name is Brayden Gallagher, and I am a photojournalism student from Flint, Michigan, currently in my junior year at Central Michigan University, where I am pursuing a major in photojournalism and a minor in entrepreneurship.
I currently work as a student photographer for CMU Athletics and Creative, covering the university’s Division I athletic programs, including football, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s basketball, and volleyball.
My passion for photography began at age 14, inspired by my mother, who worked as a photographer on the side. By accompanying her on photo shoots and helping with her work, I developed an appreciation for the craft that eventually grew into a passion of my own. I initially focused on photographing my friends skateboarding, intending to create my own skate magazine. As I continued to develop my skills and explore new opportunities, I realized that photography was something I wanted to pursue professionally.
Today, I continue to grow as a photographer through sports, skateboarding, and photojournalism, always looking for new ways to tell stories through my work. This portfolio showcases a selection of projects I have completed throughout my journey as a photographer and reflects my continued growth, creativity, and dedication to the craft.
Thank you for taking the time to view my work!
